Repeatedly not looking left when turning left When you emerge from a junction, you look too late (either left or right) for the observations to be effective, as you’re already partly into the next road. You emerge and cross the crossroads without making any observations to the right or left. When you approach a crossroads, you do not recognise that it’s a junction. When you’re on a slip road to join a dual carriageway, you enter the dual carriageway without making any observations, or you do not give way to the traffic on the main carriageway. If you fail, you will need someone with a full licence to drive the car away. You may be taken to a police station and charged with offering a bribe.
If you offer money, some other bribe, or try to influence a testing officer, the test will be stopped. If the testing officer suspects you have recently taken alcohol or another drug, the test will be cancelled. No other person is permitted in the car during the test. If you're converting an interstate or overseas licence You do not need to complete a learner log book or hold a learner licence for 12 months. You can take the test if you have passed the Hazard Perception Test. Note: if using a log book app, you must submit your hours through the app 48 hours before doing the test to ensure your data has been transferred.
